The City of Angels experienced widespread festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series title. Supporters across the globe joined local residents in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Turnout
Local events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
